The 5th Kalamata Puppet Theater Festival turned international and hosted 28 troupes from Greece and abroad. Held October 3-10, 2021. It lasted 8 days. 50 puppeteers participated. 51 performances were held in Kalamata, Nafplio, as well as in the thematic Museums of Dimitsana, Stymfalia and Volos. Also, two 12-hour workshops for adults (giant puppet and yarn puppet), a three-hour theater puppet animation seminar, two theatrical events and 3 theatrical puppet exhibitions were organized. 1,400 students attended the morning performances and 2,000 spectators in the afternoons.
