The 3rd Kalamata Panhellenic Puppet Theater Festival took place on May 12-19, 2019 in two rooms on the Central Stage of the DI.PE.THE.K. and the Amphitheater of the Municipal Philharmonic. 20 troupes, 48 puppeteers took part, 47 performances were presented, 10 workshops for adults were organized. 3 open theater events took place, as well as two theatrical puppet shows at the Festival venues. Approximately 3,000 students from 120 schools of Kalamata and the wider region attended the performances in the morning, while in the afternoon the spectators who attended amounted to 1,800. 50 creative volunteers helped.
